What is Bagua (八卦)?

Bagua means 8 trigrams, and in Feng Shui, this is overlaid on the floor plan of a house to analyze which area is responsible for which part of life.

2. Fame: South. Social recognition and success.
3. Relationships: Southwest. Love and partnership.
4. Children: West. Creativity and joy.
5. Helpful People: Northwest. Mentors and travel.
6. Career: North. Life path and purpose.
7. Knowledge: Northeast. Learning and spirituality.
8. Family: East. Health and roots.

• Wealth Area: Plants, fountains, purple/gold decorations
• Relationship Area: Paired items, pink/red
• Career Area: Water element, black/blue
