The 13 Moons of Creation: Mayan Tzolkin
The Mayan Tzolkin calendar is a map of consciousness. Discover your unique Galactic Signature.
The Tzolkin Matrix
The Tzolkin is a 260-day calendar based on the human gestation period and the cycles of Venus. Unlike the Gregorian calendar which measures physical time (orbit around the sun), the Tzolkin measures "synchronic" time—the flow of spiritual energy.
It is composed of two interacting cycles:
- 20 Solar Seals (Archetypes): Representing qualities of consciousness.
- 13 Galactic Tones (Numbers): Representing creative powers of action.
20 x 13 = 260 unique energetic signatures (Kin).
Your Galactic Signature
Your signature is composed of a Solar Seal (Day Sign) and a Galactic Tone. The Seal represents your core essence and archetypal role (e.g., The Nurturer, The Visionary), while the Tone describes your creative power and how you interact with others. Together, they form your cosmic ontology.
For example, a Red Dragon (Nurturing) with Tone 1 (Magnetic) initiates new beginnings with primal trust. A Yellow Sun (Enlightenment) with Tone 13 (Cosmic) transcends boundaries with universal love.
Living in Sync
By following the Tzolkin, you align your life with natural rhythms. Each day carries a specific energy that favors certain activities—creation, reflection, release, or connection. Living in sync with these waves can bring flow and synchronicity to your daily life.
"Time is Art." — José Argüelles
When you stop racing against the clock and start flowing with the energy of the day, life becomes a masterpiece of timing.
