Introduction: Why Do I Feel Empty Even When Working?

The biggest concern for modern people is "What work suits me?" Even with a high salary or stable government job, people complain of emptiness. This is because Job and Calling do not match. Saju clearly distinguishes these two.

Core Concept: Survival vs Self-Actualization

1. Characters of Rice Bowl: Wealth (Jae) and Title (Gwan)

In a capitalist society, the first things we look at when choosing a job are Money (Jae) and Honor/Stability (Gwan).

• Wealth (Jae): "Does it make money?" (Result-oriented)
• Title (Gwan): "Do others recognize it? Is it stable?" (Signboard-oriented) Many choose jobs based on these two. But this is the realm of 'Survival'. It does not give fullness of soul.

2. Characters of Talent: Expression (Siksang)

• Eating God/Wounded Officer: "Am I having fun? Am I using my talent?"
• For people with strong Siksang, 'Fun of work' and 'Freedom' are more important than money. They get sick if trapped in an organization (Gwan).

3. Characters of Calling: Wisdom (Inseong) and Useful God (Yongsin)

• Seal (Inseong): "Is this work valuable? Does it contribute to the world?"
• Useful God (Yongsin): The nature that resolves the imbalance of my chart. When we use this, we feel "Alive".

Deep Dive: Solving the Conflict (Job vs Calling)

The Dilemma

"If I follow my calling, I'll starve. If I chase money, my soul will die." Saju tells us the Timing.

• Early Luck (Wealth/Title): Time to build a social foundation. You must take care of the 'Rice Bowl'. Learn skills and save money even if you dislike it.
• Mid-Life Luck (Yongsin): Finally the time to live as yourself. If the foundation is laid, boldly switch to Calling. ("Second Life")

Example: A person who needs 'Water (Wisdom)' in Saju but lived only using 'Fire (Passion)', burns out in their 40s. They must stop and switch to 'Water' work (studying, counseling) to heal.

Practical Application: Utilizing My Saju

1. Wealth/Title Structure: Organization, Business, Finance suit you. Don't look for 'Deep Meaning' here. Work professionally, and find Calling in hobbies after work. (Job = Job)
2. Expression/Wisdom Structure: Cannot survive potential organization life. Must go as Freelancer, Artist, Educator, Counselor. Even if it doesn't make money right away, you succeed by building 'My Brand'. (Job = Self)
3. Change of Great Luck: Career views change when Great Luck changes. The emptiness that comes then is a signal saying "Now seek Calling, not just Rice Bowl".

Conclusion: Your Soul isn't Unemployed

Just because you don't have a workplace doesn't mean your soul is unemployed. When the Universe sent you to this earth, it gave you a task (Calling). Decode that code hidden in the eight characters. And beyond making a living, shoot for the stars.
